The Grady Hotel is Louisville’s new five-story boutique hotel. The 33,000 SF structure was built in 1883 and at one point serve as the Swann Hat Factory. The splendid hospitality destination features an extensive sample of Stanton Millwork’s high-quality casework and finishes. The first floor pilasters and the elevator lobby panels and trim were made using custom wood panels with the grain, texture, and stain to match ASI Chromatic Wood. Explore another recent hotel featuring Stanton Millworks casework. The stairs leading to the cellar-turned-bar required freshening up. Stanton installed oak wood caps and pre-finished oak wood stair treads, resulting in a moody transition into the speakeasy-inspired bar, named Wild Swann. The extensive casework package in wood veneer encompassed the first-floor lobby bookcases, den bookcases, and the bar and lounge millwork. When created with Stanton’s care and quality, wood veneer can be an affordable option that still delivers a high-end appearance to your product. Even the stunning lounge accent wall covering was crafted using a wood veneer. The final product is a showstopper.
