The Meshewa House

The Meshewa House casework [1]The Meshewa House at Turner Farm [2] is a new event space for The Village of Indian Hill. The manor house was originally built in the 1930s as one of the original mansions in the emerging equestrian community. Stanton Millworks was enlisted to complete a large casework package to give the facility the high-end luxury finish it needed.

Stanton Millworks was responsible for the casework throughout most of facility. This included all event rooms, bathrooms, the library, and the break room. Most pieces started as all paint-grade wood, with an aged or worn appearance. The few exceptions were some of the vanities, which were cherry wood.

All the doors of the cabinets are inset, as opposed to the more common overlay style. Inset cabinetry requires more precision from the makers, but creates a smoother, cleaner appearance. The crew successfully completed the task, matching the overall feel of the stunning event space.
