Forge Biologics

We delivered challenging woodwork designs with quality craftsmanship, precision and thoughtful collaboration to achieve the client’s vision.

To achieve the bold, impactful design Forge Biologics envisioned for its expanded facility, Stanton Millworks closely partnered with both the client and the project architect to ensure custom architectural elements were created and installed with our signature craftsmanship and precision. As part of a new 200,000+ square foot viral vector manufacturing space, this phase included a cafeteria, various hospitality areas, and a custom gathering space where team members can convene, collaborate and celebrate together.

Our scope included:

  • Casework and solid surfaces for hospitality areas, catering room, mother’s room and restrooms
  • Powder-coated steel suspended wall shelving
  • Geometric upholstered booth pods in the cafeteria
  • A custom light wall along the main atrium staircase featuring a custom panel design
  • Community table with benches
  • Tiered bench seating under the staircase
  • High-end millwork in an employees-only celebration space, featuring a custom entrance hidden in a bookcase

Proactive problem solving for custom solutions

The extensive millwork, casework and solid surface work we delivered for Forge Biologics was completely custom and thoughtfully designed to meet their functional needs and achieve their stylistic vision. Close collaboration throughout the project was key to ensuring every solution was as perfect as it could be.

For example, when the client wasn’t quite satisfied with the original design of custom wall panels along the main staircase, our engineer produced a new design that reconfigured the panel reveals to minimize their impact for a more seamless, intentional look. When it came time to install the wall panels, which featured custom light elements, we coordinated with the construction manager and electricians so they could prep the area as needed to accommodate the various cutouts and electrical needs along a particularly complex, 60 degree slope. This careful coordination ensured a smooth, efficient installation.
